Bulgogi (Barbecued Beef)
The quintessential Korean barbecue?thin slices of beef, marinated in soy sauce, flavored with sesame oil, garlic, scallions, and black pepper, and served with a chili-garlic sauce. Rich, spicy barbecue! Serve with rice and spicy pickled salads. Preparation time does not include 1-hour marinating time.

1 pound(s) Lean beef (sirloin), thinly sliced
SAUCE:
1 Tablespoon(s) Mirin
1/2 teaspoon(s) Chili garlic sauce
1 teaspoon(s) Sesame oil
1 Tablespoon(s) Water
2 teaspoon(s) Green onions, minced
1 teaspoon(s) Sugar
MARINADE:
4 Tablespoon(s) Sugar


Instructions:
1. Combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, pepper, green onion, and garlic for marinade.
2. Add beef and coat well. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
3. Meanwhile, prepare sauce by combining soy sauce, sesame oil, water, mirin, sesame seeds, green onions, chili garlic sauce, garlic, sugar, and salt to taste.
4. Heat a large, nonstick skillet to high heat. Cook meat to medium stage (slightly pink).
5. Serve with sauce on side.
