Bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente; drain and reserve. |

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Add onion and saut; until translucent; add garlic and continue saut;ing until aromatic. |

Add tomatoes and juice; season with salt and pepper; simmer for about 20 minutes. Skin the sausages and slice into rounds. Add sausage and peas to tomato sauce. Simmer briefly until peas are just hot. |

Toss sauce with pasta. |
