Pork Sate (Grilled Marinated Pork)
This mildly spicy pork satay is a Philippine take on a traditional Thai dish of marinated pieces of grilled meat presented on handy skewers. Also good with chicken, fish, or shrimp.

1 1/2 pound(s) Pork butt, cut into strips 2 inches long, 1 inch x 1/4 inch
to taste Black pepper, freshly ground
3 clove(s) Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon(s) Ginger, minced
2 tablespoon(s) Lemon juice
1/4 cup(s) Peanut butter, creamy
3 tablespoon(s) Water
Wooden skewers, soaked in water


Instructions:
1. Season pork with salt and pepper. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan; stir and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes.
2. Place the pork in a shallow pan and pour the mixture over. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours.
3. Thread 4 strips of pork on each skewer.
4. Grill skewers for 3–4 minutes per side, basting with marinade, until cooked to desired doneness.
