What could be called the original garlic bread, traditional bruschetta (pronounced broo-SKETT-ah) is simply slices of crusty bread that are grilled, rubbed with fresh garlic, and drizzled with fruity green olive oil. Other toppings may be added, too, such as Olive Paste and Mascarpone or Fresh Tomato and Basil toppings (see recipes).
